One Michelin-starred chef Cyril Lignac friendly and down to earth personality makes him a natural when it comes to television programs. After stints in different Michelin-starred establishments such as L’Arpège, he was soon a fixture on TV as he opened his own restaurant, Le Quinzième, on the popular French series “Oui Chef!” He brilliantly demonstrated his know-how and good taste, producing refined and slightly off-beat cooking, always made with his trademark top quality ingredients. He made history when he took over Le Chardenoux, one of the last true Parisian bistros in existence in 2008. He also opened his workshop, Cuisine Attitude, a place for culinary creation welcoming both novices and budding amateur chefs in the very center of Paris. In 2011, he brought the Chardenoux bistro concept to a new venue in the ever so Parisian Saint-Germain des Prés when he took over the legendary Claude Sainlouis renaming it Le Chardenoux des Prés. That same year, Chef Lignac also opened La Pâtisserie, a simple though elegant bakery focusing on tradition, with a modern touch. In 2012, Chef Lignac received his first Michelin star for Le Quinzième. At the same time, GQ Magazine recognised his entrepreneurial spirit and his talent for sharing simple pleasures when they named him “Chef of the Year”.
