Ciccio Sultano is the chef patron of his two- Michelin-starred Restaurant Duomo, located in a small street behind the Duomo of San Giorgio in Ragusa Ibla, Sicily. His cuisine is an historical tour through Sicily with its complex layers marked by the cultures that have left evident traces not just in the language, but also in the produce, cooking techniques and in the presentation of the food. Heavily influenced by its sea and its rugged mountain countryside, the cuisine at Duomo comes together in a truly inspirational menu. Chef Sultano successfully manages to express the very essence of the island, the smells and flavours that awaken all the senses.
